Sexual Victimization of Women on Public Transportation

Study shows large scale sexual victimization of women takes place on public transport in Lucknow but goes unreported. In order to lift the veil from this dark shadow of crime against women, YES Foundation under Safe Safar in partnership with Department of Security and Crime Science at University College London (UCL) conducted a comprehensive study on sexual victimization of women on public transport in Lucknow.


A Safetipin for Lucknow: Research findings of the study conducted in Lucknow

The safetipin initiative is a follow-up of the project Safe City free of violence against women and girls conducted by YES Foundation in 3 Wards of Lucknow City from Dec 1 to 31, 2014. The survey helped in understanding the level of public infrastructure of audited areas, it also resulted in finding out the correlation between visibility of women in the cities after dark and the level of public infrastructure.


Youth Friendly Health Services

12 young researchers led an action research to assess the state of sexual and reproductive health services available to young people in Lucknow in March-April 2016. The research report presents insights into young people’s experiences of accessing health care and "youth friendliness" of existing services. The sharing of findings will be followed by a discussion with the researchers and team that led the study. This Study has been done by YES Foundation with the collaboration of The YP Foundation.


Adolescents’ Friendly School and System

A study on “Adolescent Friendly School & Education System” and “The condition of upper primary education” had been done in 4 zones (Jalaun, Jaunpur, Muzzafar Nagar, Sitapur), where we studied & analyzed the factors which are responsible for the condition. Primary objective of this study is to develop a broad framework for the establishment of AFSS, with suggestive actions on the different agreed dimensions and core principles of AFSS in Uttar Pradesh.. It is supported by UNICEF.
